The Sample Library – Chapter 1

All of this VST chatter over the past couple of days! We are just about ready to get started on the next video to show you how to map OAX User Sounds to a sounds in Kontakt and then save things in a User Preset. Before we do that we thought we would share a little about where we are in getting things setup.

We are ever so slowly starting to pick up a few sample libraries. We have others on the wish list but the $$$ add up quickly! For now, we are starting out with Native Instruments Session Horns Pro. Followed that up with the Soniccouture Hammersmith and Orange Tree Samples Evolution Jazz Archtop Guitar.

Take a listen to the “Hammersmith”, sampled from a Steinway Model D piano. We really like this piano!

Here’s one more short demo with the Hammersmith, the “Pop Horns” from the Session Horn’s and the bass is from the Kontakt Factory Band section.

Hey Spike – And exactly why we are spending some time talking about the VST options. OAS or OAX you can have that exact piano and play it from your Wersi instrument (Along with hundreds and hundreds) of other sounds. Just about anything you can think of is available.

Stay tuned for more as we continue.
