Style Pack 05 and a Bonus Video

Style Pack 05 from IMMusic is now available for download to add to your style collection and this one is a “twofer.” We added a video to show you something that we recently learned about bank 84 in both Wersi OAS and OAX instruments. What the heck is bank 84 you ask? As we understand it, bank 84 is a collection of voices that are intended for use in the “ACC” tracks in styles.  Now, that doesn’t mean that you can’t use any OAS/OAX voice in a style but the voices in bank 84 have been “tweaked” by Wersi for use in a style track.

Style Pack 05 includes a mix of styles with a slight change from the past Style Packs we have released. This time we added one style called “NylonJazz” that will not play correctly. You will find that the guitar part plays one octave to low. In the past, we would have deleted that style and moved on, but we thought this was a decent style and a great opportunity to share what we learned about “bank 84”.

There are two parts to the video. A short intro with “close-in” screenshots to help you follow along and then the second video where we do live changes to the NylonJazz style. We’ve said it more than once. One of these days we fork over the $$$ to get a tripod/boom setup so we can shoot better live videos from our Sonic. For now, thanks for your patience and we hope you will put up with the “grainy” video shot zoomed in from a million miles away. 🙁
