Let’s See If All This MIDI Stuff Actually Works!

Ok, the last few posts and videos showing all this MIDI stuff might be making your head hurt? In this video, we show a short example that it does work! In the first video (Part1 of this series), we set up the MIDI config on the Ketron SD40. We followed that up in part2 with setting up a couple of user sounds and what MIDI channels they would send information on from the Sonic side. In this video (part3), we show that we can turn sounds on and off in the SD40 by using the Upper 1, 2 and 3 selectors on the Sonic. In a future video, we will add program changes and select sounds in the SD40 using the touchscreen of the Sonic.
