Back in the Studio

Hi Folks,

Just checking in to see what everyone is working on this week? Let us know in the comment section of this post. We have been a little quiet this week. Why? We are back in the studio doing a few tracks for a good friend and long time supporter of ours. We would love to share more about the project with all of you but we had to sign a NDA (non-disclosure agreement). As a result, we can’t say much about it, but we are having a great time doing what we all love to do… Simply play MUSIC! 🙂

We did see a bunch of new videos posted within the past week from both Mark and Jelle. If you don’t subscribe to their YouTube channels – YOU SHOULD! If you don’t know how to find them on YouTube let us know and we will hook you up!

I am not very good at assembling my own registrations as I have been spoiled from having the last 3 versions of Tyros keyboards that I built into a professional organ (shame I can’t insert a photo).
The Tyros 5 has over 2000 factory preset song registrations with 4 variations, plus preset registrations in all rhythm accompaniments, I had also purchased a heap of third party registrations, so I never had to construct my own presets.
However the Wersi is so much better, it is a real organ – easier to operate and control and looks SEXY, so I have sold my Tyros organ off to greener pastures.
I am very excited about the future of Wersi , the updates and hopefully in time I may develop my assembling skills and more professional preset registrations will become available.

Recently I purchased the full set of registrations from the Wersi Shop (Wersi Direct UK) there are some beautiful registrations here and I highly recommend them to everyone.
At the moment I am enjoying this vast range of orchestral registrations, I have had many organs in my day, but never been so immersed with the beautiful orchestras that the Wersi can produce. At the moment I am also completely blown away with the factory “mouth organ blues” registration. (Plus others)
I have also been working my way through the factory presets, there are some beautiful registrations here also, so hopefully in the near future we will have a decent draw bar organ.

I LOVE MY WERSI, it is a credit to Uli and his development team. Thank you guys for a fab product keep up the great work.

Jerry – Sounds like an interesting project. Look forward to hearing when its completed.
Bill – Always amazed at all the different sites you have hidden in your stash!

We are just about done with the project we are working on. Need to make a few tempo changes today and get one last final approval from the customer.

We also received an e-mail asking about using Audreio Revival on OAX. Just downloaded the demo and will be giving it a try over the weekend. For folks interested in Drawbars –> https://audre.io/revival/

    Hi Jerry

Don’t know of a player, but there is this converter http://www.extranslator.com/ which will allow you to convert them to a format that most VST samplers support. (It may also be worthwhile contacting Wersi to see if they have a time frame for when they will be implementing native 3rd party sound support on OAX)

    Hope this helps

I have 2 big projects that I am still working on. The songs were done by Franz Lambret. One of them is Rock Around the Clock Medley and the other is The Land of Gospels. I am using Yamaha Vocaloid to sing the parts in The Land of Gospels. I have six singers in Vocaloid and you can’t tell the difference between them and real singers. I’ve been working on these 2 projects for 3 years.
On a different note, does anybody know of a VST player currently available that will play the Wersi STS samples and will work on the Sonic? I have a ton of Wersi samples and need to use them on the OAX.

    Jerry
