    Hi Folks,

Keep well away from Wersi Direct, they are and always have been full of empty promises, I
purchased an Abacus Duo Pro from them and as part of the deal Brett Wales was to give
me a one to one instruction day, that is now over 12 months ago, guess what, I am still
waiting, I can’t see them lasting long at this rate, no wonder Wersi gets a bad name.

Wersi UK are still advertising on Facebook that they have spaces available for the Octoberfest.
I feel very disappointed to hear that customers have been let down, it is not look good reflection on the company.

Since I have had Wersi’s I have used a single bed flat sheet folded over double to cover the whole top. I take the music or other paper off the rack and merely drape the sheet over the whole thing. Your choice of colors.

    Hi All,
Not sure if Wersi Direct seen my last comment but Ben has come back to me confirming my booking for the Octoberfest. He is the only person who I’ve had any contact with although I note he works for Wersi Festivals Ltd. Regards the software I ordered, just contacted my credit card company and as soon as I mentioned Wersi Direct they arranged for a refund – no questions asked.

    On another more pleasant note:-
To anyone wishing more sounds from there Instrument I’ve just installed the Roland Integra 7 Expander to my Sonic 700, took about 15 minutes. Over 6000 sounds basically all that Roland have produced on all there instruments so far, just follow the video on this site. I was lucky and purchased a mint condition one on Ebay for £800.

    Best regards,
    Derek….

Guys, I can tell you all kinds of horror stories relating to Wersi Direct. I, like countless other Wersi owners, have had a bad experience with them. There’s no way that I’ll ever do business with them again.

Measure the length and width of your instrument.
Add about 60cm to these measurements.
Buy a piece of cheap fabric approximately that size
Cut a slit approximately where the music rest sits.
If you know someone with a sewing machine, ask them to hem around the fabric and the slit.
Use this a much cheaper alternative!
It won’t have the Wersi logo on it, but does it matter?

Not a bad idea. Suggested that to the better half a few months back… Still no cover! Based on the feedback below from others I’m wondering if she will make one or Wersi will ship me one first? 🙂

    Hi All,
Warning to anyone ordering anything from Wersi Direct UK. I ordered 3 sound sets for £99 over 2 months ago still waiting, also have sent money via bank for booking the Octoberfest 2017 still waiting for confirmation. They do not answer emails and the mains phone lines have been unobtainable / NU since beginning of August. Have chased on many occasions with no answer!
    Regards,
    Derek…..

      Derek,

Everything is pointing to the possibility of them having gone pop.

With regards Octoberfest, might be worth checking with the venue as to the current state of the overall booking, because if they haven’t paid, it isn’t going to happen!

However, they may be operating that from another company, as both Robert and Ben are also Directors of Wersi Festivals Limited, but looking at the financial ratings of both it and Wersi Direct Limited doesn’t Instill any level of confidence.

Anyone purchased an instrument through them recently and taken delivery? And of course getting any emails from them?

I am waiting for the forms from my credit card company now to start the chargeback process.

      Thanks
      Mark

        Hi Mark

I also ordered a cover 16th August which I chased up on 12th September and did get a email reply saying that he was checking with the seamstress later that week on outstanding orders, not heard anything else to date.

Regarding Octoberfest, they don’t normally cash your cheque/ process payments until about 3 weeks before the event and then you receive confirmation about 2 weeks before the event.

I do have to say that I have always had a reply when phoning even if I have to leave a message, the main phone generally is picked up by Claire Greig.

          Hi Chris,

Very similar timeframe to my order, however order was confirmed by Robert and stated that would be back from seamstress the following week, hence expectation set as should be with me the week after.

If they had told me at the outset it would take a month, or responded to either of my two emails chasing up, I would have been more relaxed, however I have dealt with a lot of companies that have gone pop, and the two normal signs of looming issue are either waffle responses delaying the issue a few days, or no response at all. Their accounts suggest a very small outfit, which we already know, however given the niche nature of what they do, they are very unlikely to have anything but a few emails per day, so no excuse for lack of response.

Let’s hope something turns up or they raise their heads above the parapet before the bank paperwork arrives.

And Geoff, I already have a roll of black PVC backed cotton that I purchased from John Lewis to make a cover, but thought that tailor made would be better, so was going to cover my bike with it!

          Cheers

    Hi all,

Word of warning here, I ordered my cover (and they took the money) a month ago, and was reassured that it would be with them the following week, so I should have received it at the end of August.

Despite two chaser emails, which have gone totally unresponded to, I sent a further note last night of my intent to initiate credit card chargeback with my bank – again no response, so now instructing bank to recover the money.

It is a great idea and I would have rather had the cover than this hassle, so be prepared.

    Cheers
