I tend to use built in styles quite a lot, but have just started delving into the style sequencer which appeared with oax1.50. Once you have mastered this, it’s fairly easy to create song specific styles which can be played as an accompaniment whilst still allowing the left hand to be used for melody fill in etc. When using a style this way, there’s no need to use the left hand for chords. However you do need to keep pace with the style which I find quite tricky. I need to practice more!

Oh my! Truly a step back in time! When I recorded this, my Wersi was new (and so was I!) and many of these sounds & drums are the old versions. How far we have come!

    Thanks, Curt for posting!

BTW, I’m heading off the the UK this week for Wersi Direct’s Oktoberfest; anyone else going?

David – Apologize for the delay in this showing up. The spam filter on the site flagged it and I just noticed the message and “approved” it.

I did hear you were headed over for the big show. It sure would be great if they put on a show here in the states but not to many owners of OAX here. Maybe they could interest some of the OAS, CD and older generations in upgrading if they came over?

      Hi David,
You will not know me as I am a very new member, I joined in July when I purchased my OAX700.
I will be going today if any other members are attending, would be good to know your names so we can look out for each other etc.

      Regards,
Derek….( Old fat bloke with no hair! )….

I am glad to hear that the digital sampling the piano has improved. What saddens me about most Wersi organists, is that they never use the orchestrated background styles, just the digital drums alone, as they want to create their own accompaniment arrangements. I use the orchestrated background styles, when playing solo and such orchestrated background styles has helped me write my own songs. This You Tube illustrates how much fun the Wersi orchestrated background styles

      Hi Pat,
With the orchestrated background styles , there is perhaps more fun ; but , with their own accompaniment arrangements and when professionally played , that sounds much better , much appropriate and more realistic !
