The Symphony Series Collection

Yep, as we all seem to agree, OAX 1.50 has improved our Sonic quite a bit but you really didn’t think we were going to stop adding to our VST sample collection did you? We are in the midst of installing the Native Instruments Symphony Series Collection  to our Sonic. I’ll admit these are a little better suited for use over on our IMMusic side of the house vs. live performance use on the Sonic. Simply amazing sounds and capabilities. We plan to use some of these sounds along with a few from Hauptwerk for a collection of Christmas tunes we will be releasing later this year.

In reply to the question that Samuel was asking about speakers, the Bose L1 produce a
stunning sound on stage but are not cheap at £846 U.K each.

      Hi Dave and Samuel
Be very cautious purchasing Bose L1 speakers for a home application. I purchased a pair and had them in my studio for about a year and hated them, for that application they were crap. The bass was all loose and woolly they did not make pleasant music. They may be OK for stage work but definitely not for the home, you will get much better results from a quality pair of studio monitors and if you want to enhance them any further add a sub-woofer. Bose do produce produce some quality gear I have been a Bose freak for years and had several systems in the past, I still have their old flagship 901’s that I dust off and put back in my lounge occasionally. Don’t do it!
