Jingle Swing / Frosty the Snowman

In our last video we touched on the Accompaniment section of the instrument. We still have quite a bit more we would like to go over regarding that section of the instrument but decided to work on a little music this time around. We also promised to start getting some tunes posted that featured the sounds of OAX for folks that have not had the opportunity to hear a Sonic.

As for what you hear:

We started off with the “Factory” rhythm called Jingle Swing. We only used the percussion parts of the rhythm, no auto-accompaniment. Intro-2 gets things started, both break 1 and break 2 are used along with variations “b” and “c” of that style. Ending-2 finishes things up.

On the instrumentation side you hear – Grand Piano-1B, Acoustic Bass, Tenor Saxophone 2 and Trumpet 1.

Enjoy,

The digital sampling was incredible, as I would had believe the brass sounded so real! The piano has come a long ways of improvement since earlier Wersi DMS technology in the 1980s. Very good digital sampling is awesome!
