Hi Curt, I would like to know if you are doing any changes to the original styles before you put them in the Style packages?
    Thanks, Kai

Nope – I go through them one time to ensure that they play. Basically just hit Intros, Break1, and Endings. Other than that untouched.

Most of them do need a little work to adjust the volumes and possibly choose a different sound for the various Acc parts. I modified a few that I’ve saved locally and it can make quite a difference if you take the time to adjust them to your liking.

    Hi Curt,
Pack 2 has some good ones. I have downloaded them into user and Loungebossa is now on my Wave number. Thanks. What a Wonderful World and Blueberry Hill are definitely in there, also.

Hey Joann, Glad you found some you can use and enjoy. I have to admit I’ve used LoungeBossa a couple of times myself!

Hi Joann, I’ll take a look through our stash and see if we have any of these. If we do, I’ll slip a few of them into upcoming Style Packs and update you as I do.

          • 03/20/2018 at 08:14

            Thanks Curt. Sounds great.

Finally got around to checking and I see a few names that are close but not exact matches. For example, I have Easy Country 2. No idea if that’s the same thing as Easy Country Ballad or not?

Could very well be that the ones you listed above have not been converted into a format that OAX understands… 🙁

Thanks Curt for checking. I had a feeling that might be the newer ones.

Curt, my question is on strings. Am I the only one who is not happy with the strings. Is there a setting to soften them up and make them warmer. I feel this is a Germany thing. I loved the strings on my Spectra but not hearing that on my Sonic.
      Thanks. Joann

Use the manual and sound controllers to get them as you want, and then save in a Total Pre-set. (I would imagine there are also Spectra string voices on-board as well)

        • 03/20/2018 at 08:18

Thanks Bill. A little volume makes them shrill. I keep changing settings but not there yet.

          • 03/20/2018 at 10:12

Joann – Try this and see if it helps? As Bill mentioned there is one sound called CD-Strings.

From the main screen touch Sounds on the right.
            From the Soundlist screen:
Left column (Main Group) – Touch Strings.
Then on the next column (Instruments) touch String.
On the next column (Sub Groups) touch All
Over on the right check the box that says MIDI PRG. That will change the sort order of the sounds.
Scroll down the list and will see CD-Strings.
Select them and hit the Green button in the lower right to assign them to whatever selector you are on. (Upper1,2,3… Etc.)

Let us know if those are more to your liking?

          • 03/21/2018 at 09:07

Thanks Curt. Will keep you posted.

      • 03/21/2018 at 11:47

Yes, that is better. On my Spectra, I went into setting and brought the number lower to soften the sound. Ralph said Germany uses a different setting than we like.
Next question. I just started using Audio Record for recording numbers. When I go to Audio to listen to my recording, the volume literally knocks me off the bench. I am recording at a low to medium volume, not loud at all. Has anyone else experienced this?
        Thanks, Joann

        • 03/21/2018 at 12:17

Joann – Good or bad that is actually working as designed. When you complete a recording and save it the audio file is processed with something called “Normalization”. That’s a change implemented in OAX. I don’t believe that OAS did that?

Great Samuel – Hope you find a few that you like. Going to round up another 25 for Style Pack 03 sometime next week and get them ready to go.
